Contact Me

Hi there!

If you clicked on this button, it probably means you’re interested in contacting me. I can’t think why, but you might, for instance, have something nice to say, in which case I’ll link an email here so I don’t miss out :) This is also the official email for business matters (which is what I call any official business of sharing, linking, and referencing me or my works- you could always just leave a comment, but this is a viable option as well. Please make sure to let me know if you link back to me!!!).

sickandsickofit@gmx.com

If you have a site, please link that in your email so I can check it out! Also, if you don’t mind me mentioning you in a future post, please leave me an “okay” along with the link to your site.

  6. Hi Ella,

I’m here by chance, like a window which opened up by coincidence or maybe by fate. You liked my blog, so out of pure curiosity I ended up here. Read about you and the story of the princess and the pea. It touched me deeply. I knew then and there, this was a place I would end up sometime during the days ahead, highly probable every day.

Not because you are sick, but because even though you are not in full health, you leap above those physical restrictions and move on. That courage is what brings me here and moved me to write something to you. Anything to let you know, that what you write means a lot to some people, people that you will never know, from lands you have never been. That is the magic of blogging.

Thank you for your work. I plan to keep in touch with you, if you will let me in.

    Best Regards,

    Omar.-

  8. Dear Ella, I found your blog because you liked one of my posts. Little did I expect to find a blog I could relate to so closely. Fibro has touched my family too and I can relate all too closely with your story. I’ve seen how it tries to stifle and block any and every attempt to eke out even the simplest and most basic enjoyment of life. It steals lives. And to those people who think it’s only worth fighting if you ‘get better’. fuck ’em. they don’t know shit. In the words of Saint Whedon, “If nothing we do matters then all that matters is what we do.”

Hi, I just read your recent post and have started following you. I got CFS in 1997 and have had some FM symptoms too over the years. I will write you a longer post later but just wanted to quickly give you the link for a blog who I recently discovered when they followed mine :) – I think it will really encourage you, as she also suffers from Fibro.

Gotta dash now – heading over to a friend’s place, but look forward to hearing from you and encouraging you in your journey/ reading more of your posts :)

I am very touched and brought back to a place that I thought was behind me. Sally, my wife, fought the bastard for 20 years along with it’s sister Lupus.. I will continue to follow your story and urge you not to give up. Everyday you must move forward in your own way. Try to find gratitude in the little stuff and just know that there is another out here that has heard the stupid questions, felt the shame of wondering if you were just a wimp, and sitting in a new doctors waiting room dreading the experience of all the tests and questions knowing in your heart they are going to say the same old thing – you have fibro.

Your words are like rain drops, they fall hard but are soft and fluid. Or maybe like a song, with light sounds but driven by strong emotion. I love your writing. It inspires me (in case you couldn’t tell… :P )

Hello kindred spirit. I’m having a panic day, so to be honest I only read one of your postings but I liked it. I’m totally new on this site, just needed a place to get it all out and this seems to be a good place.
Hope you are having a peaceful day.
